Richard began his IT career as a programmer with ABS Computers, and during the following three years gained experience in system development from its concept to the implementation and support into a customer environment. After three years Richard moved into the Account Management role and initially was responsible for managing the service delivery and customer relationship in the financial and insurance sectors.
In 1995 EDS acquired ABS and during the following four years Richard held the position of bid manager. He was responsible for co‑ordinating the sales effort and ensuring the service definition was aligned to customer expectations. During this period Richard was exposed to the global community of IT service providers and gained valuable experience in developing service contracts with a number of different suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
In July 1999 he joined DA Consulting Group South Africa where he managed all operational aspects of the business. DA Consulting Group had offices in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town. He was instrumental in the successful re‑engineering effort and implementation of delivery and operational processes and procedures.
Richard brings extensive and proven operational experience to TPI. He has an affinity with people and well‑developed management and communication skills.
Richard has a Bachelor of Science (Honours), from Rhodes University, Grahamstown.

Andrew is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from UCT.
After completing his articles at Deloitte & Touché, Andrew had five years of commercial experience at Nissan South Africa, ranging from financial management to strategic planning, IT and general management. Andrew then spent two years at EDS Africa where he was project manager for one of the five largest and most successful SAP implementations in South Africa for Anglo American Platinum (Angloplat). He played a key client liaison role with Angloplat IT and business divisions, and integrated five SAP services companies into one focused team.
In January 1999 Andrew was engaged by DACG, Inc. as MD of DACG Africa in order to re‑engineer the local business from both the strategic and operational perspectives.
Andrew brings proven strategy, commercial, IT and financial expertise to TPI. He is able to convert strategy into tangible bottom‑line results and has had hands‑on business re‑engineering experience in two different industries.
