
TPI played a key role in a consortium of outsourcing specialists in advising Naspers on outsourcing the group’s network. This consisted of setting up the RFP process, a vendor evaluation framework, the outsource contract, and putting in place an ongoing management framework.
This outsource deal was successfully completed in record time, including the set‑up of a new management company and the transition of staff to that entity.
The business benefit to the Naspers Group, resulting from the single managed network has been an efficient mechanism for the leveraging of information within and between companies in the Group. This achieved a substantial overall network cost saving.
