SARS

TPI worked closely with the South African Revenue Services (SARS), as an advisory partner, in selecting an outsource vendor to support their IT infrastructure. This involved identifying the business case for outsourcing, and driving the RFP and tender process through to final vendor selection.

TPI was not involved in the initial negotiation process and the definition of the commercial and service management frameworks. Subsequently, SARS engaged TPI to re-negotiate these documents with all key stakeholders and to play an ongoing programme and contract management role.

The net result of bringing TPI on board to finalise the implementation and ongoing management process has been an overall improvement in service delivery, service management and vendor relationships.
